Week 4 - Communication

Great theme this week and I think this shot fits the bill. My two children were not very compliant so this is the best I could get! Im not happy with my B&W conversion from RAW, it lacks punch. I need to get rid of that shadow and sort out my daughters nails!

Week 3 - Doom & Gloom

What a theme! Well the January is a bit gloomy and the weathers dull but my take on the theme was a shot of pills and alcohol.

Week 2 - Float

This shot was a bit more tricky to set up. Manual exposure, layer masking meant more technical stuff! The kettle appearing to float over the hob. Wish now I had turned the kettle the other way so the spount was facing the cup

Week 1 - The Future

Mini Calenders. Speckles on the kitchen workstop look like dust bunnies. Wish I'd cloned those out. Hand held shot taken with 50mm 1.4. The "February" is not quite sharp enough as I would of liked and I should of re-taken increasing ISO/speed.
